Ollie Hynd completed the full set of Paralympic Games medals with a gold in the SM8 200 metres individual medley final.
The 17-year-old has been one of the stars of the British swimming team and ended his frustrating run of near misses with a dominant display at the Aquatics Centre.
Hynd started slowly on the butterfly leg but was up in second after a good backstroke swim that took the field to halfway.
The Nova Centurion swimmer had moved into first with 50m to go and his opponents made no headway on the freestyle leg as Hynd touched first in two minutes 24.63 seconds for victory.
Jiachao Wang took silver for China ahead of Dutchman Maurice Deelen, with Hynd's brother Sam back in fourth.
Ollie Hynd said: "When I touched I didn't really want to believe it. I thought 'it can't be right' but I'm Paralympic champion and I'm over the moon. This has just been amazing."
There was also a bronze medal for Britain's Rob Welbourn in the S10 400 metres freestyle, which was won by 16-year-old Ian Silverman of the United States.
