Macgraff Leuluai signs contract extension with Widnes Vikings

Widnes have handed back-row forward Macgraff Leuluai a two-year contract extension.

The 26-year-old New Zealander, who is the younger brother of former Wigan scrum-half Thomas Leuluai, said he was really pleased to have extended his deal.

"I feel I have developed further as a player over my time at Widnes and I look forward to moving on to big things with the club," he said.

Leuluai has made 119 appearances for the Vikings since joining them in 2011 and has featured in their last 16 matches.

Widnes coach Denis Betts praised the Kiwi's contribution to the team.

He said: "He often gives the team and the spectators a lift with his defensive efforts. I am really pleased to have secured his services for the next two seasons."
