Bradford snap-up Sea Eagles star
Bradford Bulls have completed the signing of Manly hooker Heath L'Estrange on a two-year deal.
L'Estrange was a member of Manly's Grand Final-winning team last season, also helping the Sea Eagles to victory over Leeds in the World Club Challenge.
The 24-year-old will be a direct replacement for outgoing Great Britain international
Terry Newton, who is set to join Wakefield on a two-year deal.
Bulls coach Steve McNamara said: "Obviously he is a replacement for Terry Newton and I'm excited by what he can provide for us when he gets over here.
"He is another Grand Final winner and he's still only 24 so he is at the perfect age and I am excited about him coming to the Bulls.
"I think Heath and Wayne Godwin will compliment each other really well and I think he will be very god for us on and off the field."
The Australian will join up with current team-mate Glen Hall who is also making the switch to Odsal next season.
"Bradford's a great club and I can't wait to get there," L'Estrange said.
"Both myself and Glen Hall have talked about it and we both feel the same. Hopefully we can get the winning culture back there."
