England to face Kiwis in opener
International rugby league heads down under once again, as Australia and New Zealand host a new-look Four Nations tournament in the autumn. England will be bidding to go one better than last year, when they lost the final to the Kangeroos in Leeds. The Kiwis were well beaten by England in Huddersfield last year and will have an early chance of revenge in the tournament opener in Wellington on October 23. Papua New Guinea replace France and take their bow in the competition against the holders in Parramatta the following day. The climax of the group stage features a double-header in Auckland on November 6 to mark the official opening of the new South Stand at Eden Park, with England playing Papua New Guinea and New Zealand facing Australia. The final will be held at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on November 13. Four Nations schedule Game 1Oct 23 New Zealand v England, Westpac Stadium, Wellington
