As The Miz served as special guest referee in the match between Rusev and Samoa Joe, it turned out to be The New Day who had the last laugh at Miz's expense

The Miz took down the briefcase on the final SmackDown before Money In The Bank, but got a shock when he opened it.

He had been on special guest referee duty for the colossal collision between Rusev and Samoa Joe, which went the way of the Bulgarian Brute after a fierce Machka Kick on Joe, who was involved in a mid-match confrontation with Miz.
