Brentwood boy Martin J Ward was one of the local fighters who lit up the Copper Box on Saturday night.

'Wardy' went in against the Italian, Mario Pisanti, looking to hit the lucky 13 when it came to wins while remaining undefeated, having drawn twice.

Ward was looking to bounce back after a lacklustre performance in his last fight of 2015, with his WBC International super-featherweight title on the line.
