Michael Buffer has spent 35 years as a ring announcer and is well known across the globe for his trademark catchphrase "Let's get ready to rumble".

And he will be the MC for Saturday's bout between Anthony Joshua and Carlos Takam, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Buffer has a wealth of experience in his trade and put it to good use ahead of Joshua's title defence and put on a masterclass for a lucky few.

Sky Sports News reporter Fraser Dainton caught up with him before his masterclass to get a few tips and hints.

Buffer, speaking on behalf of William Hill, the official title sponsor of AJ v Takam live on Sky Sports Box Office, said: "One thing that's important is taking care of your voice, drinking honey with tea and that type of thing. But before you go on air you can't just clear your throat or whatever.

"So when it's the main event and I'm in the ring, people are paying attention to the fighters as they're walking toward the ring. So I'll just get the vocal chords in shape, so that when I start out I've got a voice."

Michael Buffer was speaking at the Master of Buffer Association Masterclass for Official Title Sponsor, William Hill ahead of Joshua vs Takam.
