Spike O'Sullivan believes he will make Chris Eubank Jr look like 'Mickey Mouse' rather than 'Superman' when they step into the ring.

Eubank Jr was referred to as 'Superman' by his father at the pre-fight press conference, but his Irish opponent has mocked this nickname ahead of their WBA world middleweight title eliminator this Saturday at The O2, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

The pair shared another lively verbal exchange in front of the watching media and O'Sullivan is determined to have the last laugh.

He will look very Mickey Mouse when he's exposed and knocked out and flat on his back in the ring.

"Him, he's Mickey Mouse," said O'Sullivan. "He will look very Mickey Mouse when he's exposed and knocked out and flat on his back in the ring.

"He's going to look Mickey Mouse then."

Chris 'English' Eubank also claimed that O'Sullivan will be 'cooked' by his son, telling him 'Whichever route you choose, I think you're in for a cooking. I'll bring the pepper!'

But 'Spike' insists it will be him who is dishing up a humiliating defeat to Eubank Jr at the sold-out venue in London.

Chris Eubank Jr and Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan exchange verbal blows on The Gloves Are Off.

Despite his confident claims on social media, the softly spoken Cork fighter was more reserved when the feuding duo went head-to-head on 'The Gloves Are Off'.

O'Sullivan insists viewers should not read too much into his appearance on Sky Sports and points to his past fights as proof of how his actions speak louder than words.

"I'm not one for talking anyway, I just like to fight," said O'Sullivan. "Talking is not my thing.

"As regards abusing people and giving them grief, it's not for me. If you look back through the other fights I've had, there was rivalries there and I never abused anyone - it's not my style.

"I just like to get in and knock them out which I've done in all of my fights."
