Deontay Wilder is out to make history when he hits New York for the first time.
The WBC world heavyweight champion defends his title against Artur Szpilka at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, live on Sky Sports in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Wilder (35-0-KO34) has boxed all over America since turning professional and won his world title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas a year ago when he out-pointed Bermane Stiverne.
But while heavyweight icons such as Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Larry Holmes and Mike Tyson have all boxed in New York, Brooklyn itself has not seen a world heavyweight title fight for a long, long time.
With Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua watching on, Wilder is ready to put on a show.
"The heavyweight division is definitely getting - each and every time - more exciting," he said.
"I'm in New York, breaking in my talent there, making my debut and making history.
"There hasn't been a world heavyweight title here [in Brooklyn] for 115 years and I am about break that streak on Saturday night.
"Then I will add my name to list of great champions that came before me."
Wilder has also challenged Szpilka to be in 'the shape of his life'.
