David Haye weighs in at career-high ahead of facing Mark de Mori

David Haye was over a stone lighter than Mark de Mori despite the Londoner weighing in at a career-high 16st 3lb 5oz.
Haye (26-2-KO24) tipped the scales more than 17lbs heavier than he did for his last bout; a fifth-round stoppage victory over Dereck Chisora way back in July 2012.
The former WBA champion is the same height as Australia's De Mori (30-1-2-KO26), who weighed in at 17st 5lbs 8oz ahead of his first fight on UK soil.
Haye said earlier in the week: "I've been packing in food as much as I can. I used to diet down a lot; the ethos in my own training camps was to get as light as possible and come in around 15st.
"I would lose a stone just by cutting my food down as the general consensus back then was the lighter I was, the closer I was to cruiserweight and the faster I'd be.
"That was all good and well but when you're cutting weight and sparring big guys, I got injured so the reason to not do that is injury prevention.
"I've been eating every two-and-a-half hours, it's really annoying! I'd set my alarm to eat to make sure my weight didn't get too low."
The pair faced off for the final time ahead of their meeting at The O2 and neither man had anything to say, although Haye briefly flexed his wrists during a lengthy stare-down.
Haye, 35, is hoping an emphatic victory can carry him closer to lucrative clashes with the likes of British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
The 33-year-old De Mori, who has fought in America and Germany as well as his homeland, revealed in the build-up to the fight that he may retire if he knocks out the home fighter.
