After securing the Southern Area Super-Welterweight belt, Ben Hall says he's matured as a boxer over the past 12 months

Super-welterweight prospect Ben Hall picked up his first title with an eighth straight win.

The 22-year-old known as 'The Sensation' stopped Kris Agyei-Dua in the fifth round to claim the Southern Area strap in style, under the guidance of trainer Peter Sims.

Hall was in control from the start and eventually showed his power and precision with a razor-sharp finish, as a left uppercut and hook had Agyei-Dua in trouble, before a barrage of shots left referee Robert Williams no choice but to step in.

"Peter Sims deserves a lot of credit," he told Sky Sports. "I just did what I'm told. There were about 20 unanswered shots. I just hope he's alright. I wish him all the best.

"I've matured. I'm not just a puncher. I learn it. Eddie deserves credit and so does Peter because they showed faith in me."

Ward didn't have far to travel and took even less time showing his class as the Copper Box crowd grew.

The 24-year-old floored him in the first and second rounds before Pisnati's corner threw the towel in a round later, to leave the British prospect unbeaten at 13-0-2-KO7.

Featherweight Reece Bellotti was taken into the penultimate round before finishing Elvis Guillen in the seventh, while 20-year-old Ted Cheeseman took four rounds to see off Gergo Vari.

The other early knockout of the night saw West Ham's super-bantamweight Lucien Reid finish David Kovacs inside the first round.
