Peter Fury has revealed the race to host the rematch between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko is down to two venues.

Fury (25-0-KO18) seized the WBA Super, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles with a surprise points victory over Klitschko (64-4-KO53) in Dusseldorf last November and the veteran Ukrainian quickly exercised his contractual right to a rematch.

Recently, a bizarre offer emerged to stage the second fight on a boat in front of a small number of VIPs but Fury was quick to "blow that out of the water" and the champion's trainer and uncle, Peter, says it will either take place in the UK or the UAE.

He told Sky Sports: "We are trying to locate and secure the venue and get moving forward. I'm hoping sometime soon we can get it announced. Nothing is set and it all depends on the venue.

"The fight is going to take place in one of two places; it's either going to be in the UAE or in the United Kingdom. It's a toss-up between the two and talks are ongoing. The best package will take it. It's just about maximising revenue.

"Klitschko is happy to come to London and fight in the UK. He hasn't got a problem with it. Neither fighter is really bothered where it's at. Tyson would prefer it in England. I would as well but it's about where it makes the most revenue. That's contracted."

Asked whether his nephew, who was stripped of the IBF title shortly after his win over Klitschko, had returned to training with confirmation of the fight seemingly imminent, Fury added: "He's back home with his wife and children and ticking over.

"He's still training. He's running and he's on the weights in the gym. He's keeping himself steady. There's no point in coming back in to a heavy training camp when you haven't even got a date.

"We're waiting to fix the date, then I'll speak with him and get him back in to camp."
