Carl Frampton vs Scott Quigg: No room for error admits Quigg
Tuesday 23 February 2016 20:00, UK
Scott Quigg admits there will be no room for error when he faces Carl Frampton on Saturday night but is supremely confident he is going to win.
WBA super-bantamweight champion Quigg will take on IBF king Frampton in a unification bout at Manchester Arena, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Quigg realises Saturday could be the defining moment of his boxing career and he is determined to emerge victorious from a fight that has been years in the making.
"It is the biggest stage either of us have boxed on and if you can't get excited about something like this then we are in the wrong game," Quigg said.
"Training has gone perfect. I feel good. But there is a lot on the line so there is no room for error. Believe me I won't be making any mistakes.
"This is a big fight. I got into boxing to be a world champion. I set out to do that and I have achieved that.
"But this is the biggest stage - Sky Box Office, pay per view. To be able to perform on this platform, this is everything I've worked towards and it all comes down to this moment.
"I will tell you what, I am one million per cent confident I am going to win."
Carl Frampton vs Scott Quigg, exclusively live on Sky Sports Box Office on February 27, is available to order via Sky remote and online.
