Daniel Jacobs has challenged fellow world middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders to a unification bout.
Jacobs (31-1-KO28) won the vacant WBA title in September 2014 when he halted Jarrod Fletcher in the fifth round and has since recorded three defences via stoppage - most recently a spectacular first-round victory over Peter Quillin in December.
Saunders (23-0-KO12) is the WBO champion, having taken the title from Ireland's Andy Lee on points in the same month. The 26-year-old is scheduled to make his maiden defence against Max Bursak on April 30 but a clash with Jacobs could follow.
The American said via social media: "There's been a lot of talk about my next fight. I wanna make it clear. I'll fight anyone they put in front of me... but I want BJ [Billy Joe Saunders]!
"No need to go back and forth. You know where I stand. Sign the contract!"
Saunders was quick to fire back through his own social media outlet, saying: "You want me I'll kick your ***, son. You're not even the world champ... belt No 2 you hold."
Gennady Golovkin is the current WBA Super and IBF world champion while Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez defends his WBC title against Amir Khan on May 7.
