Ricky Burns in shape after weighing in for Michele Di Rocco bout

Ricky Burns made the super-lightweight limit as easily as expected for Saturday's WBA world title clash with Michele Di Rocco.
Burns (39-5-1-KO13) has a chance to become the first three-weight world champion from Scotland when he takes on the Italian in Glasgow and Burns tipped the scales at 9st 13lbs 2oz; two ounces lighter than the visitor.
Burns told Sky Sports afterwards: "I'm feeling really good. The hard part is over and I made the weight comfortably obviously because I moved up. Camp has gone great and I'm really looking forward to the bit I've been training to do. Fingers crossed I put in a good performance.
"Things have been coming together in training and sparring. I teamed up with Tony [Sims] two years ago and I'm happy with the way things have been going. It's about taking it from there and producing it in the ring. We're confident we're going out there to do a job.
"Everybody's going to see the Ricky Burns who always turns up to fight, gives it everything. I never back down and when it gets tough I'm always prepared to go toe-to-toe.
"I'm hungrier than ever. Back in Glasgow, I'm looking forward to going out there and getting the win.
"We've watched quite a bit of him. He's got 18 knockouts so he can punch. He's not fought in a year and not really fought outside Italy so how's he going to handle Glasgow and how's he going to handle me? He's going to find it tough in there.
"The fans up here are unbelievable. When the first bell goes it's you and him but when you're teeing off and the crowd are behind you, it gives you a wee spur on. Let's hope they make some noise tomorrow night.
"It's a great weekend of boxing. Fingers crossed I do the best and then you've got Tony Bellew on Sunday. I wish him all the best and fingers crossed he brings that world title home."
On a busy undercard, local hero Willie Limond weighed in at 9st 13lb 8oz ahead of challenging British super-lightweight champion Tyrone Nurse, who had to strip naked to get to the 10st limit.
Conor Benn was fractionally heavier than for his professional debut at 10st 5lbs 2oz ahead of facing Luke Keleher while returning middleweight Anthony Ogogo, who takes on Germany's Chris Hermann (21-10-KO12), was 11st 7lbs 6oz.
Watch Burns v Di Rocco this Saturday from 8pm - live on Sky Sports 1, followed by Tony Bellew v Ilunga Makabu on Sunday on the same channel.
