Billy Joe Saunders dismisses criticism from Gabriel Rosado

WBO world middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders has returned Gabriel Rosado's criticism with interest.
America's Rosado (23-9-KO13) accused Saunders of "holding the belt hostage" after the Briton bypassed a potential clash between the pair on the undercard of Liam Smith v Saul Alvarez.
Now Saunders (23-0-KO12), who will instead make his first defence on the Tyson Fury v Wladimir Klitschko II bill on October 29, has responded with some barbed remarks of his own as Rosado prepares to fight Willie Monroe Jr.
He said: "If I was holding it hostage, he [Rosado] would need an AK47 and to bring the US army to take it from me.
"He is a journeyman who is going to get a beating this weekend from another bum. He needs to learn how to do business before a fight."
Saunders, who won the title by outpointing Andy Lee in December 2015, has recently called for a clash with WBA Super, WBC and IBF champion Gennady Golovkin.
