Joseph Parker insists he is ready to have "fun" after weighing in ahead of his WBO heavyweight title fight with Andy Ruiz Jr.
The New Zealander is hoping to claim the vacant WBO belt in front of his home fans when he faces Ruiz Jr at Vector Arena in Auckland on Saturday.
Parker weighed in at 246.7, while Ruiz Jr tipped the scales heavier at 255.7, and they will put their unbeaten records on the line this weekend.
"I'm relaxed, I'm ready to go, I want to have some fun," said Parker, who has 21 straight victories.
"We haven't even talked bad about each other or have nothing bad to say, but when we get in the ring you'll see what it's going to be about.
"We are humble fighters, but we're pretty ruthless in there."
Ruiz Jr also remained respectful towards Parker and will have Abel Sanchez in his corner, who also trains middleweight king Gennady Golovkin.
"The main thing is stay relaxed, stay focused, and listen to the game plan and just do what we've got to do," said Ruiz Jr, who is yet to suffer a defeat in 29 fights.
