Manny Pacquiao given deadline to make decision on proposed WBO title defence against Jeff Horn

Manny Pacquiao has been given 48 hours to make a decision on a proposed WBO welterweight title defence against Jeff Horn in Brisbane on July 2.
The Filipino star has been offered a fight against the Australian at the 52,000 capacity Suncorp Stadium after a discussed bout with Amir Khan failed to materialise in Dubai.
But with Pacquaio yet to agree a deal, promoter Bob Arum has issued an ultimatum to the 38-year-old, who could opt to push back his next fight until November.
Arum told the Manila Bulletin: "They have to make a decision by Wednesday (Thursday in Manila).
"If we can't get a fight for him this July, we'll look at November.
"Unless it's a big fight, we are looking at Manny fighting outside the US."
A planned April fight with Horn was put on hold as Pacquiao explored the possibility of facing Khan in the Middle East, but talks have stalled over their multi-million pound bout.
Pacquiao has not fought since regaining the WBO title with a points victory over Jessie Vargas in Las Vegas last November.
