Johnny was joined on this week's State of the Week by Conor Benn as they discussed the youngster's victory at the weekend and the prospects of Conor''s father Nigel making a return to the ring.
After an eight-month break from boxing following a jaw injury, Benn made it a comeback to remember, as he stopped Mike Cole in the third round at London's O2 Arena to maintain his unbeaten start to his professional career.
Benn talks about how the break benefited him, allowing him to develop his own style, moving away from comparisons to the style of his dad, a former two-weight champion of the world.
He also comments on the possibility of Nigel making a return for a rematch against Steve Collins, with talks underway to make the fight happen.
Benn's gym mate Ohara Davies faces Josh Taylor on Saturday in Scotland and the youngster talks up the prospects of his training partner.
Benn reveals that his next fight is likely to be in September and hopes to fit in three more fights before the year is out. He also talks about plans for a title fight next year.
