Ricky Hatton says there is plenty more to come from former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, who is training at his gym this week.

The duo posted a comical photo on Instagram claiming they are "in the shape of our lives" - although the comments appear to be tongue in cheek!

Fury is training at Hatton's gym in Manchester, as he hopes to be cleared to return to the ring in 2018.

The 29-year-old has been out of action since he became world champion by defeating Wladimir Klitschko on points to claim the world title in November 2015.

He was subsequently stripped of his boxing licence and is now awaiting the resumption of an anti-doping case after he was charged with "the presence of a prohibited substance" in June 2016.

The anti-doping hearing is due to resume in December, although the British Boxing Board of Control say Fury will not be guaranteed a renewed boxing license if he is found not guilty by UKAD (UK Anti-Doping).

Fury is hoping to resume his career in 2018 and build towards a fight against fellow Brit and current world champion Anthony Joshua.

Hatton tweeted: "Promise you don't let Tyson Fury's look fool you.

"What I've seen the last few weeks. Watch this space. Trust the hitman."

Fury was also joined in the gym for a day by his fellow heavyweight David Allen and 'The White Rhino' was impressed by what he saw.

Allen said of Fury: "He's one of those annoying men that can just do whatever he wants. He's a natural.

"Even the size he is now, he'll never lose it. The weight will fly off."
