David Haye has hinted that he could retire from boxing this year but has promised 'fireworks' as he prepares for his rematch with Tony Bellew

David Haye has posted a video on social media in which he says 2018 could potentially be his last year as a professional athlete.

The 37-year-old former world heavyweight champion is busy preparing for his rematch with Tony Bellew, which has been rescheduled at the O2 on May 5, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Haye was forced to pull out of his original rematch with Bellew in December after sustaining a torn bicep, but after a successful operation, the showdown is back on.

The fight will take place 14 months after Bellew inflicted another humbling defeat on Haye with a stunning stoppage victory at the same venue last March.
