Nick Webb showed the Sky Sports viewers the power he has with this devastating knockout win against Ante Verunica

Nick Webb is determined to quickly continue his destructive streak in the heavyweight ranks and, fresh from a highlight-reel knockout at The O2, is targeting a "dust-up" with David Allen.

The 30-year-old had endured a frustrating and inactive twelve months, but he returned to the ring in vicious style on Saturday night, recording a crushing second-round KO that sent out a timely reminder to his domestic rivals.

I've never met Allen, but I've seen him on TV and seen his fights, he's a character. I'll soon get to know him well if we get in the ring. I'm ready to silence the 'White Rhino'.

Webb, 12-0-KO10, is adamant that his equalising right hand can send any heavyweight to sleep and the 6'5" powerhouse believes Allen, who rematches Lenroy Thomas for the Commonwealth title in Sheffield on March 3, should meet him in the ring in the near future.

"It was great to get back out again and deliver another huge knockout, that's what I am all about," Webb exclusively told Sky Sports. "I was understandably ring rusty in the first few rounds, but once I got behind my jab at range, I found him with the right hand.

"If I catch anyone with that big right then it's lights out, I'm sure of that. I'm about delivering KOs.

"I'm ready now to push on, I know I'm 100 per cent good enough to win a British title. A few more touch-ups and then we can mix it up, I want David Allen.

Eddie Hearn wants Dave Allen to finally show what he is really capable of in his next outing

"He's a tough, tough man, that's all I can really say about him. We would have a great dust-up and I'm confident of either stopping or, if it goes the distance, outboxing him."

Another fighter on the unbeaten heavyweight's radar is Olympic silver medallist Joe Joyce, who is just one fight into his professional career.

"Joyce is a very good fighter and is underrated," Webb continued. "He beat me in the amateurs so I would love to avenge that loss, it would certainly be a war between us.

"He hasn't had many pro fights at all though so I would rather face Allen, I've had my eyes on him for a while.

"I've never actually met Allen, but I've seen him on TV and seen his fights, he's a character himself. I'll soon get to know him well if we get in the ring and fight.

"He's good friends with Nathan Gorman and has talked about me in the past. I'm ready to silence the 'White Rhino'."
