Timothy Bradley will defend his WBO welterweight title against Brandon Rios in Las Vegas on November 7.
Bradley (32-1-1-KO12) is keen to stay active ahead of possible 2016 unification bouts against the likes of Kell Brook and Keith Thurman and faces a live opponent in former world lightweight champion Rios (33-2-1-KO24).
"I am excited to get back into the ring on November 7 against a very game and very dangerous Brandon Rios," said Bradley, whose sole career defeat came at the hands of Manny Pacquiao.
"I know that Rios is dedicated to giving the fans what they pay for and so am I. I guarantee you that the Thomas and Mack Center will once again deliver a great event."
Bradley's new trainer, Teddy Atlas, said: "If I was going to come back to train a fighter, it was going to be one who had shown character in and out of the ring just like Tim Bradley."
Rios' camp are confident of causing an upset and his trainer Robert Garcia said: "Fighting for the world welterweight championship is the most important thing in this fight plus I know Rios and Bradley will give the fans one of the best fights of the year.
"Both are warriors and will give the fans what they want to see. Thanks to Team Bradley for taking this fight. Let's go out and give Southern California a fight that fans will never forget."
Bradley was last in action in June when he won a controversial decision over Jessie Vargas, who rocked Bradley in the final round and had his man in trouble only for the referee to call a halt to proceedings 10 seconds early.
Also on the bill is WBO world featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko, who defends his title against Mexico's Romulo Koasicha.
