Boxer Nicola Adams has been voted as your Sportswoman of the Month for May.

The 33-year-old completed a clean sweep of titles last month, adding World Championship gold to a collection that includes Olympic, Commonwealth and European gold medals.

Adams claimed 43 per cent of the vote, finishing ahead of former England cricket captain Charlotte Edwards (19 per cent) and Surrey Storm netballer Amy Flanagan (14 per cent).

"This is huge for me," Adams told Sky Sports News HQ.
