Tony Bellew says it's a dream come true to be fighting at the stadium of his beloved Everton with a world title on the line being a bonus

Paul Smith returned to the ring with a win and his next step is a trip across Stanley Park... and he cannot wait!

Saturday night was exactly what I wanted, a decent win and a decent performance.

I hadn't been in the ring since that Andre Ward fight 11 months ago and I was expected to beat Bronislav Kubin, so it was all about getting rid of some of those cobwebs.

I was relaxed, took my time, picked the right shots and didn't do anything scrappy. I didn't pick up a cut or any bruises that would slow me down so I am now back on track.

Any football stadium is a great place to fight and one thing I've always wanted to do, but Goodison Park in Liverpool? There is only one place I'd rather fight in and I think you all know the answer to that!

I was under the radar as well which is what I wanted, in and out in Manchester and then sat and enjoyed the show.

It's a long road back and I am still nowhere near where I want to be, but I will be in better shape for my next stop in three weeks time at Goodison Park.

I am still nowhere near my best, but a big fight there is just what I need. I hope to be fighting for a title that gets me back in the world rankings but I will have to talk to Joe Gallagher and Eddie Hearn first.

I was supposed to fight in Liverpool in April, Manchester in May and then Glasgow at the end of May or in another big bill in June if it came off, but things have changed.

It is going to be amazing night on May 29 and I can't wait. I am a Liverpool fan and have never kept that a secret and have followed my team everywhere and try to see them as often as I can, but fighting at Goodison is something different.

Regardless of who I support I can't wait to fight there. Any football stadium is a great place to fight and one thing I've always wanted to do, but Goodison Park in Liverpool? There is only one place I'd rather fight in and I think you all know the answer to that!

It's nice going to Goodison - I went to the derby earlier this season - but going there for something different is another experience.

I've played there in a charity game - for Liverpool against Evertom - and that was terrifying but brilliant. But fighting there on a night like that, will be something else.

This will not be about Everton or Liverpool, this is about the city of Liverpool.

Both sets of supporters will be cheering every local fighter on and for Tony Bellew, it is a dream come true. He is fighting for a world title at the home of the club he's supported since he was a kid, I am delighted for him.

The title is certainly nothing like the British, which Callum obviously has, but I have taken the first step and in three week's time, I will be fitter and it will certainly be an even bigger night.
