We are looking to see if age has caught up with, or he is not up for this, but Wladimir is the same as he's always been. In fact his win over Kubrat Pulev this time last year was the best we've seen from him for a long, long time.

Klitschko-Fury: Predictions
Klitschko-Fury: Predictions

The fight the world is talking about....

I would absolutely love Fury to win it and I will be cheering for him, willing him to win... but I am afraid I can't see it. The dominance of Klitschko will always be there and I think his jab will control the fight; if Fury wants a chance of winning he has to take it away from him. But if I had to put my money on it, I don't think Klitschko's ready to go yet. Fury is tough as they come so Klitschko on points.

Fury's personality is full of mischief but he boxes in the same way - he doesn't use what he's got. He flits about on his toes, switching stances, which can confuse opponents but he'll need more substance. Maybe he's capable of that but I don't know.

I will stick with Klitschko, taking it on points because of his history. He uses a jab the way a jab should be used. Klitschko is head and shoulders above everybody.

Carl Froch

Fury is rough and tough and ready for this and it doesn't matter how experienced Klitschko is, he is still a threat. Has Tyson done enough to get under his skin? Probably. Is it enough to take him out of his gamplan? No, I don't think so.

Also See:

I am sure Fury will put the nut on him, land the odd low blow, anything he can do to try and draw Klitschko into a fight and nick the win. I can see Klitschko taking it on points but I have a feeling it's going to be an exciting fight, that's for sure. I can't see Fury stopping him and unfortunately - and I would genuinely love to see him do it - it's going 12 rounds in Klitschko's favour.

Johnny Nelson

Everybody knows my predictions are always way off the mark, so I can't see anyone paying attention to this, but Klitschko will get the win. The longer the fight goes the better it is for Fury but I just don't think this is the right time for him to fight such a champion.

Wladimir is at the right age and right stage of his career and he's perfected everything since those three defeats. I do think that when things aren't going his way, we could see Fury getting points taken off because I just think this is the right place but the wrong time for him. Those deductions will make it ever a wider points win for Klitschko.

Glenn McCrory

If Klitschko is angry, that's not like him. If Tyson has managed to make him angry, that helps him. This is a massively dangerous fight for Klitsckho. If Klitschko starts off as ultra-defensive, that's the best thing that can happen for Tyson Fury. Getting off to a good start is imperative - he's got to shock him early. If Klitschko is hit with a big shot, he'll panic and we've seen before that he's not a great survivor when he's in trouble.

Klitschko goes in as the favourite because he's dealt with everybody year after year. We've got something different here in Fury but if the challenger lets Klitschko get his jab and counter-punches going, Klitschko wins by stoppage.

I've said that I think Fury will start southpaw. Banks and Klitschko have done their homework on that. I imagine Fury will try and make it awkward and frustrate Klitschko into making mistakes, but Klitschko is so experienced and it'll be tough.

It's not impossible and I think Fury will do himself great credit on the night. I think Fury will do well at the start and it'll be awkward but I think Klitschko will get a late stoppage.
