Errol Spence Jr has promised the Bramall Lane crowd will be cheering his name after he beats Kell Brook on Saturday night.
IBF welterweight world champion Brook will defend his belt in front of his home-town supporters, live on Sky Sports Box Office, having dropped to 10st 6lb 7oz after coming down from middleweight.
Spence Jr was two ounces lighter than his opponent at 10st 6lb 5oz, and the American-born fighter is confident of knocking out Brook on his own patch.
"This is something I've been waiting for and I can definitely knock him out in front of his home fans," Spence Jr told Sky Sports News HQ.
"It's nothing but motivation, they'll be cheering for me at the end of the night.
"It's wartime, all the talking is over, it's time to glove up and see who is the best welterweight in the division."
Brook looked in good shape after a gruelling weight-cut camp that has seen him drop from 12st 5lbs in order to face his taller, ex-Olympian opponent.
Spence Jr admitted Brook appeared in good condition as the pair exchanged a long face-to-face silence following the weigh-in, but believes there will be a new champion following their match this weekend.
"He looks ready," said Spence Jr. "This is something I've waited for my whole life, to fight a great opponent, a great champion, and we're going to dethrone him on Saturday night.
"I feel great, strong. I'm ready to fight, made the weight. So now it's time to eat, stay strong.
"You'll see the game plan tomorrow. But you can expect an action-packed fight, this is going to be one for the books."
