I flew out of Manchester in the morning and arrived later that same day in Las Vegas.
I have rented some apartments off The Strip for this training camp. I used them for the Paulie Malignaggi fight and they are perfect for Team Hatton.
There is myself, Lee Beard, Paul Speak and Gareth Williams staying at the appartments at the moment.
My trainer Floyd already lives in Vegas so just meets us at the gym.
But before we can even get settled in, Gareth has to go back to England to take care of our promotional company, Hatton Promotions.
We put a show on in Altrincham the night before we flew out and the response from the fans was great.
We tried to do something different by having screens over the ring with interviews of all our fighters and music playing in breaks in the card. I think this is the way foward.
We had some great fights, all evenly matched. Top of the bill was our Matthew against Ted Bami in an eliminator for the IBO Welterweight title.
Matt won in the 6th round with a great body shot - it obviously runs in the family! Hopefully though Matt will be out here soon and joining the camp.
On the Sunday we flew to Los Angeles in a private jet, which meant as planes go, it only small.
During the short flight, I was talking to Floyd when we he went just went dead quiet. We had hit some turbulence and Floyd went pale. He hated it! So much so that he threatened to get a bus back to Vegas when were all done in LA!
We all had a good laugh and as you can imagine, a few choice words were used by poor old Floyd. Which only made us split our sides even more!
