Great Britain Cycling Team rider Victoria Williamson is in a stable condition in a Dutch hospital after she was involved in a serious crash at the Rotterdam Six-Day event on Saturday night.
The 22-year-old, who claimed a team sprint bronze medal with Becky James at the 2013 World Championships in Minsk, fractured her pelvis and several vertebrae in the crash and also sustained a cut down her right side following a collision with Netherlands rider Elis Ligtlee.
Williamson has undergone surgery and has had MRI scans. She will remain in hospital in Rotterdam for the next few days while doctors assess her condition.
"Victoria is being very well looked after here in Rotterdam and the well-wishes people have been sending her are very much appreciated," Great Britain Cycling Team sprint coach Justin Grace told their official website.
"She gave us all a scare last night and while her injuries are serious they are not life-threatening.
"From a performance point of view this is another injury to deal with - Victoria has a long road to recovery ahead of her but her health is the highest priority for the whole team and we'll make sure she receives the best possible care."
Great Britain team-mate Joanna Rowsell Shand, who was part of the victorious London 2012 team pursuit trio, went on Twitter to offer her support for Williamson.
"Sending lots of best wishes to @VicsWilliamson for a speedy recovery xx," she tweeted.
