Raymond van Barneveld and Peter Wright will be hoping to continue their dominant form on Tuesday night at the Grand Slam of Darts.

The Dutch veteran has sent out a warning to his title rivals during the group stages of the tournament, dropping just three legs in his two wins, while Wright's record is even more ruthless as he has conceded one leg in his brace of victories.

James Wade and Robert Thornton are also yet to suffer defeats, but a number of players are still battling for qualification places at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton, live on Sky Sports 1 from 7pm.

Wade can cement his place at the top of Group G when he starts the live action against Dave Chisnall, who sits at the bottom of their table following two dismal defeats.

In the following match, Group C leader Wright can heap more anguish on Ted Evetts, another struggling performer in the competition.

But the entertaining Dimitri Van den Bergh still has plenty to play for and could perform his unique dance moves if he advances from Group B with a win over Scott Waites.

Danny Noppert was brushed aside by fellow Van Barneveld on Sunday, but the BDO player can keep his qualification hopes alive by defeating Group F rival Nathan Aspinall.

After a wretched run of results, Thornton is beginning to display the darts that saw him win last year's World Grand Prix, and the Group B front-runner can dish out a decisive blow if he beats Gerwyn Price.

Jamie Hughes is set to represent the BDO in the next round after moving into second place in Group G with a thrashing of Chisnall, but can still be edged out by James Wilson.

Mensur Suljovic is looking anxiously over his shoulder at third-placed Noppert in Group F and cannot afford a heavy defeat against Van Barneveld.

In the closing match of the night, Simon Whitlock faces a tense qualification scrap with Jeff Smith, who was the runner-up at this year's BDO World Championship.
