BDO World Championship: Martin Adams continues his hunt for another Lakeside title

Former champion Martin Adams has reached the BDO World Championship semi-finals after a ruthless 5-1 win over Ross Montgomery.
The 58-year-old, who has won the title on three occasions, opened up a commanding lead after winning six of the first seven legs.
Scotsman Montgomery dumped out 2013 champion Scott Waites in the previous round, but could not match the composed finishing of ‘Wolfie’ Adams.
Glen Durrant will face Adams in the last four after he sealed a 5-2 victory over fans' favourite Darryl Fitton.
Fourth seed Scott Mitchell also booked his place in the next stage with an impressive 5-2 win over Brian Dawson.
The Hampshire man racked up six ton-plus checkouts and appeared to be cruising to victory when he led 3-1 at the interval.
Following a determined rally, Dawson came battling back to within one leg of levelling at 3-3, but Mitchell regained his advantage with a 132 checkout on the bull.
Needing just a solitary set, ‘Scotty Dog’ soon sealed his first appearance in a Lakeside semi, where he will take on Canada's Jeff Smith, who claimed a 5-1 win over Robbie Green.
In the women’s semi-finals, Anastasia Dobromyslova suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat against impressive youngster Fallon Sherrock.
The 20-year-old set up a showdown against reigning champion Lisa Ashton, who wrapped up a 2-0 win over Sharon Prins.
