Max Hopp and Nathan Aspinall have booked their places in the final of next month's World Youth Championship.

German teenager Hopp and Stockport's Aspinall battled their way through the early rounds of the tournament and will contest the £10,000 first prize at the Butlins Minehead Resort on Sunday November 29.

Reigning champion Keegan Brown relinquished his title in the first round following a defeat by Rowby-John Rodriguez.

Wales' Jamie Lewis was another surprise early casualty as he was beaten 6-4 by Belgium's Kenny Neyens.

But Hopp avoided a similar upset as he progressed to the semi-finals, edging out Dean Reynolds 6-5 to secure his spot in the final.
