Mark Webster has reached the last 16 at the World Darts Championship after a crushing 4-0 win over Terry Jenkins.
The former Lakeside champion continued his impressive start to the tournament, snatching legs at crucial stages to punish the jaded Jenkins at Alexandra Palace.
Webster was joined in the next round by Alan 'Chuck' Norris, who claimed a 4-1 win over fellow debutant Joe Murnan.
Mensur Suljovic and David Pallett were both a dart away from completing a nine-darter, but it was the Serbian-born Austrian who advanced after a tense 4-3 win.
Webster, who lifted the BDO title in 2008, secured the opening set in style, completing a 12-dart leg with a clinical 81 checkout.
After conceding a fifth straight leg, Jenkins eventually jolted into life and had three darts to level the match, but missed all of them and Webster snatched the set with double six.
The Welshman added the third set after another 12-dart leg, while he sealed a comfortable victory with double top.
In an eventful encounter, Suljovic was agonisingly close to a nine-darter as he was just inches above double 18.
It was then Pallett's turn to nearly complete the perfect leg, pushing his ninth dart narrowly over the wire for double 12.
But Suljovic completed his checkout at the decisive moment as he sealed victory with an 84, ending on the bull.
At the start of the session, Norris had too much firepower for Murnan and completed a stylish 123 finish in a convincing victory.
