World champion Gary Anderson could collect more silverware at the PDC's Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday night.

The Scot retained his title at the recent World Darts Championship, defeating Adrian Lewis 7-5 in the final at Alexandra Palace.

Anderson, who also won the Premier League, took four awards at last year's ceremony, including the prestigious Player of the Year title.

Michael van Gerwen will also feature among the nominations after cementing his world No 1 spot with maiden title wins at the UK Open, World Matchplay and Grand Slam of Darts.

Anderson and Van Gerwen also feature on the PDC Fans' Player of the Year shortlist, which allows fans to vote for the winner on the official PDC website.
