With the World Matchplay drawing closer, we look back at a superb semi-final between Adrian Lewis and Michael van Gerwen.
The World Matchplay starts this Saturday, live on Sky Sports, and we have picked our favourite five moments, with Van Gerwen's semi against Lewis coming in at No 2.
Van Gerwen had produced an impressive run in the tournament, defeating Colin Lloyd, Peter Wright and Dave Chisnall on his path to a last four match with Lewis.
In an explosive opening, Lewis produced a red-hot spell of scoring to surge ahead, but Van Gerwen clawed his way back and a stunning 121 finish earned him a 15-14 lead.
Both men continued to exchange legs to set up a tense finale and Van Gerwen was inches away from a 146 finish before 'Jackpot' picked out double seven to seal a 17-15 victory.
Lewis faced Phil Taylor in the final and 'The Power' would win a sixth consecutive title with an 18-13 victory.
