Defending champion and top seed Glen Durrant averaged 95.29 as he breezed past Gary Robson 3-0 to advance to the last 16 of the BDO Championship.

Two-time winner Scott Waites also progressed to the second round after defeating fifth seed Ross Montgomery in a 3-1 victory.

Waites, the BDO champion in 2013 and 2016, won the first two sets in the deciding leg before the Scot stormed back to take the third 3-1.

The Yorkshireman raced into a 2-0 lead in the fourth set but missed six match darts as Montgomery won the next two legs before Waites produced a stunning 11-dart leg to secure victory.
