Gary Anderson and Peter Wright hit some stunning finishes, but it was The Flying Scotsman who fought back from 6-3 behind to secure a point in Berlin.
Anderson nearly hit a nine-darter in the sixth leg, before Wright built himself a comfortable lead and even had the chance to take all the points, but missed the bullseye.
Back came Anderson to nail a magnificent 86 finish as he hit the bullseye to snatch a share of the spoils in a tungsten humdinger.
Anderson cracked in five maximums to Wright's four, with an average of 105.25, and 86 per cent on the doubles.
"It's good for darts [being in Berlin]," said two-time Premier League champion Anderson. "Darts you play darts. You throw your darts and get out of the way. It's as simple as that and that's how it should be played."
