Hosts Germany, two-time winners England and former finalists Australia will be in action on the opening night of the World Cup of Darts live on Sky Sports 1 at 7pm on Thursday June 11.

The £250,000 tournament will be held from June 11-14 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, with 32 nations being represented by two-player teams who will compete in a knockout format for the title.

We reflect on a dramatic PDC World Cup of Darts final between England and Australia in 2012.

This year's event sees the Netherlands' Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld defending their title. The Dutch duos rivals include two-time champions England, represented by Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis, and Scotland, who have reigning World Champion Gary Anderson playing alongside Peter Wright.

Other nations competing include former finalists Wales, Australia and Belgium, the likes of Canada, the USA, South Africa and New Zealand as well as emerging countries from Europe and Asia.
