Phil Taylor and Gary Anderson in World Grand Prix action
Tuesday 6 October 2015 00:08, UK
Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor begins his quest for a 12th World Grand Prix title in Dublin on Monday.
Gary Anderson also continues his trophy-laden year as the first round of fixtures draws to a close to kick off your week with some thrilling tungsten action.
You can catch the World Grand Prix, featuring Taylor and Anderson plus much more, on Monday live on Sky Sports 1 HD at 7pm.
Taylor begins his campaign against fellow veteran Vincent van der Voort while Anderson will play John Henderson.
For Taylor, the tournament in Ireland's capital has yielded 11 previous trophies but he enters the 2015 event with questions lingering over his double-hitting.
Sky Sports expert Wayne Mardle fears that weakness could hinder Taylor in an event where players must always start by hitting a double.
Anderson has captured the World Championship and Premier League Darts titles this year so will be gunning for a remarkable hat-trick of tournaments, having seen regular sparring partner Michael van Gerwen advance into the second round on Sunday night.
Elsewhere, Simon Whitlock kicks off the night's action against Andrew Gilding, while two-time World Grand Prix champion James Wade plays Mensur Suljovic.
