The FIA have confirmed the DRS Zone in China will remain unchanged from 2011's race.
Detection and activation points the same as in 2011
The FIA have confirmed the DRS Zone in China will remain unchanged from 2011's race.
The activation point will be halfway down the long back straight between turns 13 and 14, giving drivers around 550m to use the system.
The DRS detection point will again be on the entrance to the long right-hander of turns 12 and 13, making the speed carried through the corner crucial to make best use of the reduction in drag.
During last year's Grand Prix, 37 overtakes were made using DRS, compared to just 30 'normal' overtakes around the rest of the 3.4 mile layout.
