2013 German GP Practice Three: Sebastian Vettel tops session by 0.6s from Nico Rosberg

World Champion asserts himself as Hamilton's struggle continues

Sebastian Vettel topped final practice for the German Grand Prix by almost seven tenths of a second from Nico Rosberg on Saturday morning.

Webber then appeared set to go fastest before running wide at the final corner. There were no such errors from his team-mate, however, with Vettel stretching his legs to lay down the marker. With Red Bull's long-run pace also looking good round the 5.148km track, the onus is now on their rivals. Besides Mercedes, Ferrari look back on form after their Silverstone hiccup while Lotus also appear an outside bet on a track which appears to suit their car better. Their race pace appears competitive. As is usually the case for Raikkonen and Grosjean, though, it will all depend on what happens on Saturday afternoon.
