Jenson Button believes team-mate Lewis Hamilton has made the wrong decision in deciding to leave McLaren for Mercedes but denies that the impending move has led to a change in atmosphere at the Woking team.
Button also rubbished suggestions that there had been any kind of attitude change towards Hamilton inside McLaren since his Mercedes move was made public, blaming the media for fuelling incorrect tales of tension. "It is amazing how opinionated people are with this team and none of it is true," Jenson said. "The atmosphere in the team is fantastic. As far as I can see with Lewis, he is focused and wants to win races. Nothing has changed, it is just the view of a few people with a wide audience and they need to get their facts straight."
