The new Caterham has appeared ahead of schedule in its magazine launch.

First pictures of CT01 revealed ahead of official launch

The new Caterham has appeared ahead a day ahead of its scheduled magazine 'unveiling'. Whilst the team's 2012 charger, the CT01, was scheduled to be launched on Thursday via the F1 Racing Magazine, pictures of the car have already appeared online after copies of the magazine were apparently posted to subscribers a day early. Although its early release is clearly a boon for the reputation of Royal Mail, first impressions of the team's new car have been mixed, with the CTO1's most distinctive feature being what appears to be the F1 equivalent of a boxer's nose. In response to the premature glimpse, the team have now published a picture of their 2012 charger - the first to be launched, officially or not, for the new season - on their twitter feed.
