It's a jam-packed few days of insight, interviews and action on Sky Sports F1 for India's second ever grand prix weekend

It's a busy few days of insight, interviews and action on Sky Sports F1 over the Indian GP weekend.

With one flyaway double-header down and two to go, the battle for the World Championship really is now close to reaching boiling point and it's India where the Formula 1 circus touches down for round 17 this weekend. Sky Sports F1 is gearing up to bring you exclusive live coverage of the second ever grand prix from the Buddh International Circuit and befitting the location the team have a series of varied and colourful live shows to bring you across the race weekend. After ensuring you take in the Drivers' Press Conference on Thursday morning from 10.30am, it's your final early, early start to an F1 Friday this season as coverage of Practice One gets underway at 5.15am, with the second following on later in the morning at 9.15am. The F1 Show comes on air at 1.30pm with Georgie Thompson, Anthony Davidson and the SkyPad in London, and Ted Kravitz trackside in India, and in addition to all the usual practice analysis there's highlights aplenty. We catch up on the progress of the three young Indian karters who last year won Force India's 'One in a Billion' talent search to find the country's next generation of F1 stars, while Mark Webber meets a true national cricketing hero in batsman Gautam Gambhir. Closer to home and the team also caught up with Williams drivers Pastor Maldonado and Bruno Senna at Silverstone last week to get their views on the Grove team's up-and-down season so far, while we'll also have footage of the duo driving Williams' title-winning FW08 and FW18 cars. On Saturday morning, our Qualifying show gets underway at 8.30am and the build-up will include a track guide with India's first, and currently only, active F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan, along with an interview with Kimi Raikkonen and a feature on Austin's Circuit of the Americas ahead of the venue's much-anticipated debut on the calendar in just a few weeks' time. The way he's going Sebastian Vettel could be on the brink of his third straight title by then and Sunday's race show is headlined by an interview with the in-form World Champion. We also look at how India made its way onto the calendar in the first place with the help of Force India owner Vijay Mallya, who we will also have a wider interview with during the weekend, and Chandhoks Vicky and Karun. If that's not enough then the Sky Sports F1 team put their 'improving' pit-stop skills to the test in a no doubt competitive head-to-head with broadcasters from German, Italian and Spanish TV. Throw in all the on-track action on top of all of that you have an Indian GP on Sky Sports F1 that's not to be missed!
