Brit out again after early collision
Jenson Button was disappointed after suffering his third retirement due to an accident this season in Sunday's French Grand Prix.
After a dismal campaign by Honda last year Button had hoped for better in 2008.
However, thanks to a sixth-placed finish in the Spanish Grand Prix, he has only picked up three points thus far.
And that figure has now been matched by the number of retirments he has suffered because of accidents.
The latest crash came at Magny-Cours on Sunday when he drove into the back of Sebastien Bourdais's Toro Rosso, damaging his nosecone.
Although he pitted for repairs, the damage was too great and Button called it a day on lap 19.
"I got a good start and I pulled up alongside Bourdais," he told
ITV1.
"I thought he was going to turn into Turn One and close the door, so I pulled right up behind him, it all slowed down a lot and I hit him in the rear.
"That was it - it damaged the car and I could feel there was something broken in the front because I could feel the air coming through the front.
"I had understeer in the car but it was driveable and I was staying with the back of the pack no problem, so I continued.
"But it must have been loose and it dislodged itself when I went over the kerbs in the last chicane.
"It got stuck under the front and the car was undriveable."
He added: "It's really disappointing and annoying that we crashed again, because it's not like me and I've had a lot of it this year."
