Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton has added to his frontline with the signing of striker Steve MacLean on a one-year deal.

The 28-year-old, who becomes the eighth new arrival at Huish Park this summer, has been on trial at the club scoring once in four appearances. MacLean was released by Devon rivals Plymouth at the end of last season, which he finished on loan at Oxford. MacLean has scored 78 senior goals in 266 games in a career spanning stints at Scunthorpe, Sheffield Wednesday, Cardiff and Argyle. He joins Gavin Williams, Kieran Agard, Dominic Blizzard, Curtis Haynes-Brown, Max Ehmer, Anthony Edgar and Bondz N'Gala as new faces in the Yeovil squad.
