Lincoln winger Michael Gordon is to have his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 25-year-old joined the club in November on a deal until the end of the season.
He made five league appearances for Chris Sutton's side, the last of which was as a substitute in the recent 3-1 defeat to Notts County.
The paperwork is expected to be completed before the weekend.
A club spokesman said: "We would like to thank Michael for his services while with the club and wish him all the best for the future."
