Simpson hails Glennon impact

Paul Simpson has hailed the influence of goalkeeper Matt Glennon following Stockport's improved run of form.

County began the season slowly but have gradually found their feet, taking seven points from their last three games. And nobody has impressed more than Glennon, whose calm assurance has given Simpson's men a huge lift. "Matt Glennon has been fantastic in goal since he's come in," said Simpson. "He's a talker and he instils confidence in the players in front of him. "He's very experienced and he's a calming influence on the rest of the players."
