Anderson training with Grimsby

Lincoln's Joe Anderson is training with Grimsby after just making one appearance for the Imps since the end of November.
The 21-year-old has been invited to Blundell Park with a view to joining the non-league club as cover for first-choice left-back Lee Ridley, who has a stomach strain. Grimsby boss Neil Woods told the club's official website: "Joe Anderson from Lincoln has been training with us and I must thank (Lincoln manager) Steve Tilson for his help with that. "We know we need cover for Lee, even though he is back training. We'll see how he is in the next couple of days but it may be we have to do something there, possibly with Joe on loan."
