A memorial fund has been set up for former midfielder Richard Butcher, who died in January aged 29.
Money raised through the Richard Butcher Memorial Fund will be donated to causes chosen by the former Notts County, Lincoln and Macclesfield man and his family. The fund also hopes to create permanent memorials to Butcher and former Lincoln and Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander at Sincil Bank and Moss Rose, grounds particularly poignant to both of their careers. Friends and members of both families will run the Lincoln 10k road race on April 3 in the first event to raise money for the fund.
